CAT VARC mocks built on the latest CAT pattern.
9 sectionals, 40 minutes each, real CAT interface and marking, with every answer explained. By GRADFLIX.
The schedule
A new mock every few days, timed so the last one lands two days before CAT. Each goes live at 12:00 am on its date.
The real CAT screen, before the real CAT
Practise on the interface you will face on exam day, so nothing on the screen costs you time:
- Question palette with CAT’s colour codes: answered, not answered, not visited, marked for review
- Mark for Review & Next, Clear Response, Save & Next, exactly as in the exam
- An answer counts only when you save it, as in CAT
- On-screen keypad for para-jumbles and odd sentence out
- Countdown timer and auto-submit at 40 minutes

What you get after every mock
About ₹25 a mock. No renewal, valid till CAT 2027.
- Mocks 2 to 9, 24 October to 27 November
- Real CAT interface, pattern and marking
- Estimated VARC percentile and rank on every mock
- Every answer explained, time per question
- Mock 1 stays free for everyone
Who sets the mocks
Every passage, question and explanation is written by Abhishek Leela Pandey, a CAT mentor who scored in the 99.93 percentile in CAT and writes the GRADFLIX essays and solved CAT PYQs. Passages are original and pitched at CAT difficulty, and each answer key is checked against the passage before release.
Questions about the mocks
A timed test of only the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section: 24 questions in 40 minutes, with 4 reading comprehension passages (16 questions) and 8 verbal ability questions (para-jumbles, odd sentence out, para-summary and sentence placement), marked exactly like CAT.
The pattern, question mix, timing and marking follow the latest CAT VARC section, and the test runs on a screen modelled on the CAT exam interface: question palette with the same colour codes, Mark for Review & Next, Clear Response, Save & Next, an on-screen keypad for type-in answers and a countdown timer.
Your score out of 72 is compared with published CAT 2023 to 2025 VARC score-versus-percentile data and shown as a range. It is an estimate: the real percentile depends on how hard the actual paper is.
+3 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong multiple-choice answer, and no negative marking on type-in-the-answer questions such as para-jumbles and odd sentence out.
Mocks 2 to 9, released between 24 October and 27 November 2026, each with a full result: score, section split, estimated percentile, rank among GRADFLIX takers and every answer explained. One payment, no renewal, valid till CAT 2027.
No. Reading plans unlock essay questions and explanations. The mock pack is a separate one-time purchase of ₹199, so you only pay for the mocks if you want them.
