How many comprehension questions are there in CSAT?
Recent CSAT papers have had about 23 to 29 comprehension questions out of 80, on short passages with one to three questions each.
Are these CSAT answers official?
Yes. Answers follow UPSC’s own answer key: the final key where UPSC has published it, and the provisional key (May 2026) for the 2026 paper until the final key is out. The explanations are written by Abhishek Leela Pandey.
What is the CSAT marking scheme?
2.5 marks per correct answer and −0.83 for a wrong one, out of 200. CSAT is qualifying: you need 33%.
